Shannon Airport – Dromoland Castle



Shannon Airport is one of Ireland’s three primary airports, along with Dublin and Cork. Over one and a half million passengers passed through this airport last year. It has traditionally been a hugely important gateway between Europe and the Americas since 16 September 1945 when the first transatlantic flight, a Pan Am, landed at Shannon from New York City. Dromoland Castle, near Shannon Airport, is a 5-star majestic castle, home to the Kings of Thomond. This location on the shores of a lake has 500 acres for the bridal party and guests to explore.

Dublin Airport – Clontarf Castle



Clontarf Castle has very easy access to Dublin Airport and boasts that ‘happy ever after starts with a fairy-tale wedding at Clontarf Castle’! The castle dates back to the 12th century and is set in leafy grounds and gardens. The castle had a €10 million makeover a number of years ago and the Great Hall with its cream and gold color scheme and Louise Kennedy crystal chandeliers is a picture perfect location for any wedding. The center piece is a frieze of the Battle of Clontarf, a nod to the history of the castle.

Cork Airport – Castlemartyr Resort



Castlemartyr Resort, County Cork, is a 5-star location very close to Cork Airport. This elegant 18th century manor house also has a 13th century castle and is set in 220 acres of mature landscape. There is also an 18 hole golf course and the resort offers all sorts of wedding styles from the traditional to the more informal. Belfast Airport – Belle Isle



Belle Isle is a 17th century castle and wedding venue set in the Northern Ireland Fermanagh lake lands. It’s just an hour and a half from Belfast International Airport. This is, quite simply, a spectacular location for a wedding or civil partnership. Situated on the northern tip of Upper Lough Erne, the 470-acre estate is spread over eight picturesque islands. The estate has been inhabited since the 12th century and has won many awards.
