This solid sterling silver ring with 10k yellow gold heart is all the more special as it features the words ‘love’, ‘loyalty’ and ‘friendship’ inscribed on the inside of the ring. Ireland’s romantic ‘Ring of Claddagh’ originated from the Galway fishing village of Claddagh and this symbol of love, loyalty and friendship has continued around the world from the 1600s to today. This ring is made by local artisans and craft-workers here in Ireland and bears Ireland’s official hallmark from the Assay office at Dublin Castle.
