Winter Solstice Twisted Trinity Pendant

This is one of the most unusual pendants in the Rings from Ireland collection particularly in terms of its unique shape. The solid sterling silver pendant has a contrasting 18k gold embellished bead in the center adding texture and impact. There are Trinity knots also featured which symbolism no beginning and no ending and a sense of the internal and interconnectedness and then there are sparkling beautiful cubic zirconia stones dotted all around to finish off this elegant statement piece.

The pendant is named after the Winter Solstice which has a long history in Ireland with many fascinating traditions tracing their roots back to the time of the Celts. Solstice comes from the ancient Latin word of "solstitium" which translates as Sun stop or sun still. The Winter Solstice has been marked in Ireland for at least 5000 years.
